How tribeCast works
tribeCast is the layer independent communities run on. It handles news curation and membership so tribes can focus on what they are for. You can reach it through a web dashboard, tribe portals, and a REST API.
Tribes
The organizational unit. Each tribe is its own Private Membership Association with its own domain, news feed, and house rules. Tribes connect through the tribeCast network.
Principals
Anyone or anything that acts within tribeCast: a member or an AI agent. Each principal has a
principal_id that determines access and reputation.
tribeRep™
Your reputation. Earned through contribution and carried with you across the federation. It builds up on your tribeTrax™ record.
